Tenure-track specialist in poetry with distinguished teaching experience
and publications, with expertise in one or more areas of creative writing:
program development and administration; literary publishing; fiction. Ph.D.
or M.F.A. required. The successful candidate should have significant experience
in teaching poetry, as well as other genres of creative writing and literature.
Applicant should be a well-published writer, with at least two volumes
of poetry, who has a deep commitment to teaching and writing, as well as
experience in program development, program administration, and/ or editing,
and one who sees these responsibilities as complementary rather than competing
activities. Teaching experience should include creative writing workshops,
form and theory seminars, and literature classes. Administrative and editorial
experience can be varied, but the successful candidate should be prepared
to work toward assuming either the directorship of the MFA program and/
or the editorship of an international poetry journal.

Tenure-track specialist in 19th Century British Literature to teach
undergraduate courses as well as graduate courses at the Master's level.
Ph.D. in English or Comparative Literature in a relevant field required.
The successful candidate should have demonstrated teaching excellence and
the ability to work with a diverse student population and be willing to
commit time to department and university service. The candidate must have
expertise in 19th Century British Literature, especially in literature
of the Romantic period. Because we have many new course offerings in multinational
authors, genres, and ideas, the candidate should also be able to cross
boundaries and have secondary expertise in one or more of the following:
the Romantic tradition on the Continent, the Victorian Age, the Age of
Decadence, Continental Realism. Relevant previous or current publication
demonstrating expertise and research interest in 19th Century British Literature
